Kokedama Workshop @ Capitol Hill - 7pm on March 23rd
Kokedama (苔玉, meaning "Moss Ball") is the art of containing the root system of a plant inside a ball of soil and moss. These plants can be hung to create a suspended "string garden" or simply placed in a decorative dish on a shelf. Attendees will be guided through the process of making a Kokedama and receive a 4" plant, moss, a soil mixture, fishing wire, and an s hook for hanging.Â
New! We've partnered with Spruce Decor to offer a styling segment following the workshop for attendees to learn how their kokedama can live beautifully in their homes. Source will also offer mini design consultations for attendees who would like to describe their space or bring in photos in order to receive quick, tailored suggestions on placement, scale, layering, and styling.
